after the box has booted into GUI, use ALT + F3 to get a login shell. Then login as root and use your root password for password.

gave you duff info, when in the GUI you need to use:- Control + Alt + F3 to switch to a shell login prompt.

Then Alt + F2 to switch back to GUI.

Standard Linux consul switching !!

To change the ESSID, I'd just edit the "wiana.settings" file in the /etc directory and find the ESSID line and change it there. Then reboot.

PortMapping allow you to redirect specific tcp/udp ports on a mesh node to anywhere else on or off the mesh. Typically this is used to create service based tunnels in or out of the mesh.

First ensure "mesh port mapping" is enabled for the node and that you are running a node with software version of build25 or above. In the port mapping section you specify the mapping as shown:

* eth:411 1.32.78.69:1411

The above specification would remap local port 411 on the ethernet device to a remote wireless mesh node on port 1411. If the node this is specified on is a gateway to the internet then connections from the internet on port 411 would be redirected into the mesh. If the final destination on the mesh is a remote non-mesh client, then a port mapping on that local cell completes the final hop. Use the interface specifications of "br" or "wlan" for infrastructure or ad-hoc mode. Static IP dhcp allocations should also be in place for the remote client device to ensure it is always at the expected address. Both UDP and TCP ports are redirected with a single port remap specification. Redirecting traffic out via a different route - RedirectTrafficViaOtherRoute

Redirecting some traffic across the mesh (eg POP server on different gateway) - RedirectSomeTrafficAcrossMesh
