  • One hour 16.8/2kwh per 1kg plastic * 0.8 = 5.88 l/h.
  • 5.88 * 9hours per day * 30 = 1580 liters bunker, kerosene or diesel per month.

And an icing for the cake is a catalizer. Also, once motor oil has been used, it doesn't only mean contamination, but also the molecular structure has been cut down, which causes decline of lubricant, cleaning, and cooling capability. But, I have to say, compare with running a engine without oil, adding this would be better.

At industrial heating fuel suppliers FFS Refiners’ plant, in Pietermaritzburg, the Rose foundation supplied extra tankage to complement the existing facility. This allows collectors of used oil to drop off oil at the facility, instead of having to drive to Durban.

These TFE or WFE equipment, are described in detail, as are their principles of operation and typical operating conditions, in "Recent Technology Development in Evaporative Recycling of Discarded Oil" by J. Bishop and D. Arlidge and in "Thin-film Distillation as a Tool in Recycling of Discarded Oil" by J. F.
