Leechtest working, but pqtest isn't (also via an Aramiska connection)

Both of these are reliant on external websites being up - leechtest uses curl -L -o /dev/null http://download.microsoft.com/download/winme/Update/8.0a/W9XMe/EN-US/DX80eng.exe

and pqtest uses curl -L -o /dev/null http://www.mirror.ac.uk/sites/live.locustworld.com/32mb-images/latestbuild.bz2

so if either of those sites are down, then the command will fail.

You can also test speeds by doing a getandverify, but quitting before it completes the download. Or just substitute any big file in there - for the Aramiska speed test, try }}}

* curl -L -o /dev/null
* http://care.aramiska.net/downloads/speed/speedtest3.mov
